Opportunity to Visit "AUSTRALIA" and Attend "WORLD ZOROASTRIAN YOUTH CONGRESS"

Resource Group, in its endeavor to position Zoroastrian youth on a Platform of
Success, is willing to sponsor two Zoroastrians to an all-expense paid trip to
Australia to attend the WORLD ZOROASTRIAN YOUTH CONGRESS, which is scheduled to
meet from December 27, 2007 to January 03, 2008. Two successful Zoroastrian will
be selected through an Essay Competition. The topics are as hereunder: |

CONDITIONS
1. The participant must be a male/female Zoroastrian. 2. Participant
will be required to address any one topic from Group 'A' and any one topic from
Group 'B', addressing two topics only. 3. Each topic will not exceed
300 words and will be addressed in English Language only. 4. Our panel
of selectors will evaluate the topics. Every participant is expected to research
their topics, mentioning the source of reference. However, participants are expected
to express their views referred from the source in their own words though in the
same context. Copy of words, sentences, etc from the source of reference will
result in disqualification. Any quote will be excluded from this clause by mentioning
the name of the individual who stated it. 5. Your personal CV needs to
be submitted and the details need to be furnished as stated in our prescribed
form. 6. The last date for entries is November 20, 2007. 7.
The participant has to have a passport with validity up till June 2008. Also,
the passport should be stamped for ECNR. 8. Each topic will be judged
by our panel of selectors who will consider the following points: · The
quality of English Language. · The presentation style. · The
logical application of ideas as stated. · The overall creativity addressed
for the topics. · The source of reference, its names and its application
for the topics addressed. · The participant's age. 9. The prize
for the competition cannot be exchanged for cash or any other commodity, and neither
can it be transferred to anyone else unless decided by PRG. 10. If the
visa application of the winner is rejected by concerned authorities, the prize
will be transferred to the runner-up. |

participant will be personally interviewed by our panel of selectors on a one-to-one
basis and understand all the points 1 to 10 as mentioned under the caption 'CONDITIONS'.

Festival in Mumbai for Parsi Irani Community PRG
proposes to hold a unique 7 day “Zoroastrian Persian Festival”. THE
BROAD OBJECTIVES OF THIS EVENT ARE AS FOLLOWS: To
revive interest about the Persian Culture amongst the Zoroastrian youth of
India. To
have cultural events like Persian Music, dancing, poetry, recitals of the
“Shanama” To revive interest in the Persian
language To expose the Zoroastrian youth to authentic
Persian food. To revive interest in the various
Persian traditions that have either got diluted or completely forgotten.
To encourage social & commercial interaction between the
Zoroastrian people all over the world with each other. To
promote trade between Iran, India, Tajikistan, and all countries where Zoroastrians
live. To promote unity amongst all Zarthusti
people world wide. IN
THE NEAR FUTURE PRG PROPOSES TO TAKE THIS FESTIVAL ALL OVER THE WORLD. |
